House Rules & General Guest Information

Welcome to our holiday homes! Thank you for choosing to stay with us and for selecting Lake Velence as the destination for your holiday.
Our goal is to make your stay comfortable, peaceful, and full of memorable experiences.
As a family, we put our heart and soul into ensuring that our guests enjoy the highest level of comfort and relaxation.
Please read carefully the following rules and information, as they are designed to ensure the comfort and safety of all our guests.

Baby & Child-Friendly Equipment

To ensure the requested baby and child-friendly equipment is available, please notify us before or at the time of booking.
Available items: highchair, travel cot (with bedding), potty, toilet seat reducer, humidifier, step stool, bed rail, baby bath.

Bedding / Duvet / Pillow

Bed linen and pillows are provided in all apartments.
For longer stays, weekly change is included.

Booking Conditions

Reservations are confirmed within 24 hours.
Minimum stay: 2 nights. During high season: minimum 4 nights.

Cancellation Policy

• Free cancellation up to 14 days before arrival (by e-mail).
• Cancellation within 7 days before arrival: 50% of booking value payable.
• Cancellation within 3 days before arrival: 100% of booking value payable.

Check-in / Check-out

Accommodation is available from 15:00 on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 10:00 on the day of departure.
For late check-in or check-out, please contact the owner in advance.

Cleaning

For short stays, guests are responsible for maintaining cleanliness.
Extra daily cleaning is available for a fee.
For longer stays, weekly cleaning is provided.

COVID-19

If official travel restrictions prevent you from taking up your reservation, we guarantee a 100% refund, regardless of the cancellation policy.
On request, our houses can be disinfected using an ozone generator in addition to regular surface cleaning.

Extra Chairs

• Bell Nyaraló: in the small house.
• Velence Korzó Pihenőház: in the cabinet behind the fireplace.
• Eleven Apartman: please request from the owner.

Fire Safety Regulations

Fires may only be lit in the designated fire pit and in compliance with fire safety rules.
Only wood and paper provided may be used – no burning of plastic or rubber.
Before leaving the fire pit, please ensure the fire is completely extinguished.
In case of fire, call 112 immediately and inform the owner.
When leaving the house, please switch off all electrical appliances.

Garden & Green Areas

At Velence Korzó Pihenőház and Eleven Apartman, lawn mowing is performed by a robotic mower. Please do not leave any items on the grass to allow the mower to work.
Irrigation is automated.

Grill & Cauldron

Barbecue and cauldron equipment can be found in the storage area.

Hairdryer

A hairdryer is available in the bathroom cabinet.

Heating – Cooling

All holiday homes are equipped with air conditioning, free of charge. The remote control is placed in the wall holder. Ventilators are also available during summer.

• Bell Nyaraló: heating via A/C and central heating with radiators, thermostat individually adjustable.
• Velence Korzó Pihenőház: heating via A/C or fireplace. Firewood is provided in bags in the small house.
• Eleven Apartman: heating via A/C or central system. During heating season, indoor temperature is set to 22 °C.

For different heating/cooling requirements, please contact the owner.

Infrared Sauna

Switch on by pressing the ON button twice, switch off by pressing and holding the power button. Towels are provided on the shelves. Never switch on the grey wall unit while the sauna is in use!

Information Materials

Brochures and leaflets are available on the table and in the cabinet.

Jacuzzi

The jacuzzi is located in the owner's private area and is not part of the official accommodation services.
If you wish to use it, please request permission and guidance from the host.
Unauthorized use is at your own risk, and the host accepts no responsibility.

Keys

Keys are handed over personally at arrival, or self check-in can be arranged by prior agreement.
Please call the owner 30 minutes before arrival.

Kitchen & Equipment

Please clean all dishes, kitchen appliances, and utensils after use and return them to their place.
We kindly ask you to use the kitchen only for its intended purpose.

Lost & Found

Items left behind will be stored for 1 month.

Payment

A reservation becomes valid and guaranteed only after a deposit of 20% of the total accommodation fee has been transferred.
Without receiving the deposit, the accommodation cannot guarantee the reservation.
The remaining balance must be settled upon arrival, either by bank transfer or in cash.

Pets

No pets are allowed without prior agreement.
If the host grants permission, the owner is responsible for cleanliness, noise, and any damages.

Playground

Children may use the playground equipment only under parental supervision and at their own risk.
Our playhouses are manufactured by: Smoby (ISO 50001 certified).

Please respect quiet hours between 22:00 – 08:00, for the peace of our neighbors and other guests.

Restaurants

Gulyás Csárda, Agárd

Traditional Hungarian flavors, family-friendly with a garden seating, located in central Agárd.

Tekergő Motel és Étterem, Velence

Restaurant & motel, offering panoramic views; good for dinner or longer stays.

Groenk Deli – Delikát Üzlet és Bisztró, Velence.

Modern, health-conscious deli & bistro; salads, burgers, organic wines, artisan products.

Boglya Csárda is located in Sukoró, with a reed-roofed, rustic csárda atmosphere. It serves traditional Hungarian dishes in generous portions, with a lakeside terrace offering views of Lake Velence. Open only on weekends (Saturday & Sunday).

Pizza & Wurlitzer is a pizzeria-restaurant located in Gárdony by Lake Velence, opened in June 2020. Their pizzas are made with long-fermented dough and Italian ingredients, baked in a wood-fired oven. The menu also features "Wurlitzer" specialties; friendly staff and there is outdoor seating

Shoe Cleaner

A shoe cleaning kit can be found in the wardrobe.

Smoking

Smoking is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN inside all holiday homes.
Smoking is only allowed outdoors, at the designated ashtrays.

Sports Equipment

Bicycles, barbecue and other garden equipment are available for guests, free of charge, at their own risk.

Sunbeds, Deckchairs, Parasols

Garden furniture is available free of charge.
Please avoid placing parasols directly on the lawn for long periods to protect the grass.

Technical Equipment

Please report any malfunction immediately to the owner.

Television

Smart TVs with digital channels are provided in all holiday homes.

Toiletries

2-in-1 Shampoo & Shower Gel is provided in the bathroom dispensers.

Towels

2 towels per person + 1 shared hand towel are provided in each bathroom cabinet.
Please use towels only inside the holiday homes.

Umbrella

Umbrellas or raincoats can be requested from the owner.
